Sounds like
"Named after a Samurai warlord, politically-aware trio Kiyomori throw in Hammond organs, samples, breaks, 80's guitars and Bowie vocals into their inventive mix."
NEW CURRENTS JAN 2006

"One of the hardest working bands in Brighton. The excellent Kiyomori."
BRIGHTON WAVES PODCAST MAY 2006

"This band is a rush of blood to the head... pounding beats and electro synths warping behind metallic riffs. Punk they may seem at first - but there are some interesting ideas twisting around Kiyomori and they're hard to pin down. Sonically they're quite a force and more intent on making people dance than some of these riffs might imply."
BRIGHTON SOURCE MAY 2006

"Six imaginatively crafted songs, crossing several genres without falling into the stereotypes of any"
BRIGHTON SOURCE OCT 2006

"Brighton Waves favourites, Kiyomori. A bit of a change of direction for them with this new tune, 'The World That They Built For Us', but still with the trademark guitar sound and political comment underlying a top tune."

About (KIYOMORI)

Musicfinity should be ashamed of themselves! Asking £1.50 a text for folks to vote is a complete piss take and NOT an 'opportunity' for anything other than profiteering.

Kiyomori urge all their friends NOT to text in and vote for us.

And now, here's our press bit...

Kiyomori have gone from strength to strength. Last year capitalising on our
first EP: UPRISING with local reviews, gigs and radio play.

Our sound is made up of banging beats, booming bass, electro synths and metallic guitar riffs with catchy, meaningful lyrics.

After breaking onto the festival scene last year with performances at the
Fire Gathering and Oxjam - Portsmouth, we are planning more festival
appearances this summer to promote our first album, which we are
currently writing and road-testing new tracks for.

Have a listen to previews of new tracks/live vids on our reverbnation player.

Kiyomori's side projects are also flourishing.

Adam is also part of a techno outfit known as the Pocketwatchers who are currently finising their first album.

He has also made one 14-track solo album -
"...from the bedroom". The Adam Kidd band has been formed and has been
sucessfully rocking live shows. Rough recordings of new songs are being
previewed on his myspace page.
