About 10 Feet Tall

It all started out when Rich and Joel were around about 11. They always used to talk about playing in a band and when Rich decided to learn the guitar, they took a step closer. Around 2003 was when things really took a forward step and the band, then called fusion decided to record an album. It consisted of 5 members, all of whom attended the Wellingborough Christian Centre. Rich, on guitars and vocals, Joel on drums, Andy on bass, Seth on Keyboards and Tom on percussion.All the songs were written by them but they were only young and didn't really know too much about what they were doing!They were just having fun and sharing the Gospel with the Youth in Wellingborough and the surrounding villages. THe band played lots of gigs locally and soon got a good reputation and decided to go into the studio and have another go. The result was a more well rounded and passionate Cd. The songs were gaining a bit more maturity, but they were all still quite young. Rich was 16 at the time of the second recording. THings went a bit quiet after Rich moved away to university at Cambridge but the passion to write and play songs about God's love still remained. The band now consisted of Rich, Joel and Andy and they decided to go back into the studio and record some songs which Rich had written. The new songs are what you can hear on this website, they are the product of years of growing and changing and are the bands most successful and provocative offering yet. Things are still changing in Ten Feet Tall, but there is a new passion there. They really feel that God can use their music to break through into people's lives and really make a difference. After all, that's what it's all about!
